Elvis – Dental Assistant
Elvis has been a dental assistant for over 12 years, and has worked with Dr. Friedland for the past five years.
One day while going to the dentist, she had a conversation with her dental assistant about what the job is like. After hearing about the dental assistant’s experience, she decided to go to Concorde Career Institute in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Elvis enjoys working with Dr. Friedland and her coworkers, and loves helping patients get the smile that they want! She has been married for over 12 years and has a daughter.
Odilia – Treatment & Insurance Coordinator
Odilia has been a treatment and insurance coordinator at Seaside Family Dentistry for over six years. She gained a great amount of front office experience in the dental world at an oral surgeon’s office, and after that job she went on to work for Dr. Friedland.
Odilia loves working with her coworkers and Dr. Friedland, and feels like Seaside Family Dentistry is her home away from home. She enjoys helping patients and is fluent is Spanish, which allows her to give the best patient experience possible.
Odilia was born in Cuba, and moved to the United States when she was eight years old. She has a 12 year old son and a fiance whom she loves dearly. In her free time, Odilia likes to dance, fish, enjoy the outdoors, and watch sports.
Sue – Financial Coordinator
Sue has been working as the financial coordinator at Seaside Family Dentistry the past year. After taking a short leave from the dental field, she realized it was her true passion.
Sue wanted to work at a dental office that came highly recommended by his staff, colleagues and patients; Dr. Friedland fit that bill perfectly. Previously, was trained and worked in expanded functions and hygiene, but for the past 23 years she has worked in the front office in her current role.
Sue has been married for almost 30 years to a wonderful man who she calls her best friend. Together they have twin boys that are 27 years old. She loves to travel with her husband, and as they get closer to retirement they hope to be able to travel more often!
